Tacoma Photo Club

In 2025, I bought a brand new FujiFilm x100vi with the intention of taking photos of friends and family that I could later print out to keep. Just weeks before I'd learned about the Tacoma Photo Center and that's how I found the Tacoma Photo Club.

I attended my first meetup at New Frontier lounge with a friend and thought that it would be dorky to show up with a camera. To my surprise, everyone had their cameras and just sat around chatting. There were even a few large-format cameras in the crowd!

Since joining I've attended nearly all of the events and represented the club and events throughout the region. I've been helping plan events to get new and experienced shooters connected with each other and enjoying the hobby!
